Jessica Kirchner has been practicing primarily in the area of employment and labor law since 2005, when she joined James G. Birnbaum’s law firm, which was then Birnbaum, Seymour, Kirchner & Birnbaum. In March, 2010, James Birnbaum, Aaron Birnbaum, and Jessica Kirchner merged with the firm, which is now known as O’Flaherty Heim Birnbaum Kirchner & Curtis, Ltd. Ms. Kirchner is continuing to work in the areas of employment and labor law, and she additionally practices in the areas of civil litigation and constitutional law.
Prior to returning to her hometown of La Crosse, Ms. Kirchner practiced with the general practice law firm Schmidt, Rupke, Tess-Mattner & Fox, S.C. in Brookfield, Wisconsin.
While in law school at the University of Minnesota, Ms. Kirchner worked as a research assistant for criminal law professor Richard Frase. She additionally worked as a Certified Student Attorney for the Criminal Appellate division of the Minnesota Attorney General’s Office.
