While at DePaul University College of Law, Ms. Brown was a Health Law Fellow and served as the Submissions Editor for the DePaul Journal of Health Care Law. Her journal article, entitled The Illinois Prescription Drug Plan: Will It Last? was published in the Journal's Spring 2006 issue. While in law school, Ms. Brown interned at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. Ms. Brown also has extensive experience as a cochlear implant audiologist. She was a frequent presenter on the topic of cochlear implants and co-authored several articles that are published in the field's leading journals.
